A Life of Impact & Purpose
Dr. Emenike Onyebuchi Okoro is a Medical Doctor, Politician, Social Reformer, and Philanthropist whose life is defined by service, compassion, and transformational leadership. Born on 31st July 1995 in Owerri, Imo State, and raised across Abia State and Abuja. He witnessed firsthand the challenges of growing up in communities with inadequate healthcare, failing schools, and broken infrastructure. These early experiences instilled in him a deep commitment to rebuilding, healing, and transforming society.
Guided by values of integrity, discipline, and empathy, Dr. Okoro pursued medicine not only to save lives but to understand and confront the systemic issues affecting ordinary Nigerians. His years in clinical practice exposed him to families burdened by poverty, children without access to healthcare, and communities struggling with clean water and sanitation. He then realized that medicine alone could not address these challenges – true change required leadership, social innovation, and community-driven solutions.
This conviction led me to establish the Gramaze Network for Community Growth and Development, a non-governmental organization focused on uplifting rural and underserved communities. Through Gramaze, I led health outreach programs, clean water and sanitation projects, economic empowerment initiatives, community school renovations, and political sensitization campaigns. My work has empowered youths, uplifted women, and provided hope to indigent families, demonstrating the impact of combining compassion with actionable leadership.
Driven by a higher calling, I Dr. Okoro stepped into politics with a mission to champion health reforms, inclusive governance, and accountable leadership. I believe that every youth deserves empowerment, every woman deserves opportunity, and every community deserves to thrive.
Today, Dr. Emenike Okoro embodies the spirit of servant-leadership, blending medicine, philanthropy, and politics into a vision for a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive Nigeria, where citizens are empowered to shape their own future.

Dr. Okoro’s long-term mission is to transform Bende, Abia state and Alaigbo at large into a model region. One where basic infrastructure, healthcare, and opportunity are guaranteed for every citizen.
Founder of Gramaze Foundation Network
As part of his vision to create lasting change, Dr. Okoro founded the Gramaze Foundation Network, an NGO focused on raising awareness, starting healthy conversations, and promoting long-term solutions to issues affecting youths, women, and indigents.
Under his leadership, Gramaze Foundation Network has:
Organized health outreach programs in rural and underserved communities.
Hosted seminars and workshops to educate citizens about the importance of political participation.
Facilitated skills acquisition and economic empowerment programs for women and young people.
Supported indigent patients with access to healthcare services and medications.
